Fourth Annual Kings and Queens Arts and Sciences Championship

Event Format

The event will be based around 2 rounds.

Round 1: Drop and Run
Entrants are to exhibit, in their own space, a minimum of 3, maximum of 5 items, which must span at least 3 categories, and will be done as a "drop and run". The items will be judged by teams of judges from diverse fields. The entrants highest scores from their best 3 categories will provide the criteria for which entrant’s progress to the final round. The top 4 entrants will move on to the second round.

Round 2: Face-to-Face
The top 4 finalists from round 1 will move on to the second phase of the judging. In this round the entrants will have 5 minutes in which to present themselves, their research and their body of work to the judges, the King and Queen, Prince and Princess if available and the current champions of Arts and Sciences. Live exhibits, presentations, performances can also be done during this round.

The final round is then scored.

The winning entrant is the Queen’s champion.
The King’s champion is chosen from amongst the entrants.
